So many awesome blocks. I'm not gonna do the farm swap, sounds like so much fun, but to much going on.

Me, too, buddysmom.... As much as I LOVE appliqué work, I just don't have the time. I have 2 QOV's I need to get started on and I am currently working on the Syvia's Bridal Sampler, which is a blast. Plus, I have a fun colorful quilt I'm anxious to start. Plus, I'm moving...yikes... So many quilts...so little time...

What a great idea, Teen! I might make some rows of corn as sashing or something in my farm quilt. Genius idea!

Yes, I hear ya about moving! I thought we were all settled in for a few years yet in this house (luckily a rental) which we moved into last summer. But now my DH's bosses are thinking of offering him a promotion with a transfer in locations, back to the area where his family lives. We might be facing a really fast move here soon! I'm going to give Judith my mother-in-law's address for the return address for this swap, just to be safe.

Fun, fun, fun... Like not!

Funny how we really get into our quilting, some say I'm crazy, cut fabric and sew back together. They just don't understand. We moved hopefully for the last time, we lived in our last home for almost 20 years. I sure do miss it.

oh wow! Moving that quick would give me hives. Good for your husband tho...a promotion....excellent! And, maybe moving close to his family so that would be cool.

BTW?..the barn quilt should have a scarecrow, don't you think? Lol....I thought of a few ideas when considering that swap but I just don't have the time. Ugh!

Ljdugas, Your blocks have arrived today. 5 Sets, 20 blocks Plus 1. I like that you went to the sweeter and floral side of summer. They will make great additions to our summertime quilts. Your all set mailing wise as well.

Here is the next set of blocks I have finished. They are 6.5 inch blocks.

And, my last set is going to be Hot Air Balloons. Nothing to picture yet. But, I have the patterns all printed out. I really hate to PP but, it's a really cute pattern. And, the PP will be minimal and worth it.
