Absolutely beautiful quilts ladies! I just learned in a class how to do that concentric circle quilting. Talk about having to be super patient, but it looks so amazing when complete! I'm not sure I'm brave enough to try it yet, but i'd ove to one day soon.

NZ, the spiral was a challenge. I discovered "tucks" on the back and had to pick out way to much quilting. Yes, I will try it again but only on smaller quilts.
Lessons learned:
1.Spray my piece heavily with spray baste so nothing moves.
2.The constant turning of the quilt is hard to handle but gets better as the circle gets wider.
3.Slow and steady is better than fast and crooked even when you think you've "got it". (I didn't but thought I did.)
3.Keep trying new techniques. It is good for the brain!

April Candies in the mail. Love the concentric circles - and have used on blocks. But found it difficult as you are always going in same direction. Good for you to do an entire quilt!
Today I meet my Bernina again.. It has been sitting here very lonely. I need to finish a quilt so it is ready to travel when we go back on the road. Wow that sounds good! We are trading in our fifth wheel and truck for a motorhome. Its hard to give it up as we purchased it new in 2003 and moved in and lived in it. Time sure flies! We hopefully will be leaving for the east coast the beginning of May. Not even sure where we will be in August for my birthday - but will figure something out!
Will be heading thru NM and TX on I10 so we can register the motorhome in TX. Then somehow meander north east. Anyone in our path?

Travelinggrandma, if you come to the Michigan, you can get three of us in one swoop, almost one stop! Or we could meet in Amish country in northern Indiana! Enjoy your new "home" and keep stitching.
