5" Color Swap - Gray...or Grey even!

I thought you all might like to see the quilt top I put together today, since it's all 5" squares. These are squares from my scrap drawers, where I keep the squares I have cut from my scraps. I had so many and was feeling guilty for never using them. They are not my color swap squares, but ones I had before. I'm calling this 'Giant Granny Square" because it's the same idea as the small grannys, only with 5" charm squares. It made a 62" square throw top. I'll be donating it once it's quilted.
Don't you think the color swap squares would make a pretty one?

Crispy frog, thank you so much for your generosity. I hope I get one of your grays! This is such a fun swap, thank you Red for all your work. Jane quilter your grays are awesome, thanks for showing them. Sewbiz I love your quilt! What a great use for 5" squares!

Thanks for all the kind words. I was so thankful for the opportunity to purge the gray from my stash. What is one man's treasure is....well, whatever. I apologize for putting Red on the spot like that. She's a tough cookie...she could handle it!
I've been busy hosting over at the February Secret Pal. I have such a new appreciation for anyone who is a hostess. It is an unbelievable opportunity! Verna2197 is feeling better and will, most likely, be setting up the March Secret Pal, by the end of the week. That is another sweet group of people. Some of you already participate. Check it out! Just opened my mailbox to a fabulous package!! I am loving this!! Thanks to all who I received baggies from and to Crispy-Frog for the wonderful Valentines surprise!! I'll get some pictures but will wait till post till other people receive so as not to spoil any surprises!!

woot! woot! my mailbox was filled with grey squares! They are all so lovely. I think I like the ones with a hint of color. Can't wait to mix these with the brights from previous swaps. Thanks to all who played along.....Jane Q
