from Reds post: I, however, am STILL waiting for my padded envelopes to come via the post office. Goodness, what is the problem with those folks![/QUOTE]

I think the elves that put them together and then mail them have fallen into the glue jar. I just kept ordering each day until the correct envelopes started arriving and then took some later arrivals to my local post office for others trying to order them. Postal workers now grimace when they see me enter, guess I'll have to find another postal station to do my business for a while.

Jaba: Good luck on the sale. Hope it goes quickly for you!

Mary....lol re: glue jar. You may be right! I'm hoping I don't have to end up buying some to mail these out. I guess I could cut the end of the ones you gals mail me, but then I'd have to tape large labels over everything and that would be a pain. We'll see. They have a little time yet.

Givio: Glad to have you again, I sent my address in a PM. Let me know if you didn't receive.

Anyone else finding it amusing the black Friday ads are already out and they are now having "pre-black-Friday" sales?
LOL....maybe this will be the beginning of letting retail help stay home with their family on Turkey Day.

My Post office friend says her postmaster won't allow her to put our squishy envelopes on the priority mail display. So she is glad to have my extras to keep behind the counter in case some one asks for one. she is happy to see me coming.

Jane, yep, they make you order them on line but today I was able to get 2 at the PO. They sometimes have them in the clerk workspace.

Red, I sent my red charms today & included a return to me priority bubble sleeve with stamps on it! Kinda cute stamps, too!

hugs,
dj

DJ: I'll keep my eyes peeled.

My husband just shakes his head when I get all excited about getting the mail. We live in the country, so our mailbox is on the other side of the street. Used to be it was "no....I got the mail last time, your turn today" and now it is turned into...."no! I'll get it!!" Small favors my hubby calls it.

Red, I've posted my red charms to you today!

Here is a strange event-- I stopped at the post office to pick up flat rate envelopes, and they didn't have a priority bubble envelope. I didn't have one at home either, so I used an ordinary manila bubble envelope. It was a used one that I had from receiving something from somewhere. When I got back to the post office, I asked if I could send it the same as the flat rate priority bubble envelope, and the postman said, "Sure!" So, maybe if your post office doesn't have what you need, you just ask, and they will help you out! :-)
