I think it's fine the way it is. I agree that it would be nice to know one color ahead of time, so we can do any necessary shopping. Most of my fabric is ordered online, and it takes some time to arrive.
P.S. The children's theme might overlap the ongoing I Spy swaps.

I received a package from Tricia last night......
I will continue the hat method as it seems to be the consensus. I can see where folks who order their fabric online could use a little extra time to get that shipped to them, so I will do two colors at once....providing they are not mailed to me at the same time. My first thought was to mail them at once to save on postage, but if someone is only in one swap, they'd have to wait until the second swap is done to get theirs mailed, it could cause issues for both me and the receiver......It's a challenge to keep everything straight, and I don't want to mess anything up.
So if everyone is in agreement I will post a current and subsequent color to be mailed separately.
Thanks to everyone for chiming in. I want this to be a happy place, away from the stressors of the world, not to add to it!
Hugs!
Chris
PS: I agree with the idea choices that "Children's" might be too close to the I-Spy swap, and I will delete from the list. I like the Rainbow idea and will add that. Any other suggestions? There's a list a year-long now, but that doesn't mean we can't add more to the "Hat". (which by the way is a motorcycle helmet my husband said was uncomfy. Quite a mental image there, right? LOL)

Hi Red-
I like the hat method. I like to be surprised by the choices. It is something to look forward to. One month ahead notification will also be helpful. All this makes it more fun to hang out in the quilt shops!
Thanks for putting so much thought into pleasing this bunch!

I'd like to suggest to add 'modern prints.' If someone doesn't understand what that means, it's sorta hard to define... A print you would find used by quilt bloggers who indicate they are using modern designer type prints might be a place to start to get an idea of what is a modern print.
Secondly, I'd like to suggest 'any print' at all. A lot of people enjoy scrappy quilts, and this would be a good way to get lots of variety. An added plus would be even newer quilters with very small stashes probably could accommodate this one with what they already have. Not many people would need to buy fabric to round out a total of 15 prints of any type!
