April - Boom 18
#2281
I LOVE that bright orange Kass! Its going to be a pretty quilt! I got a baby quilt and another quilt back today from the quilters...The 2nd is made up of panels that talk about wine and women...my DIL wants to give it to her best friend who is going thru a divorce. Sent March boom down and another one. Have one Im almost finished with then will start on the April boom...it still kind of scares me what to do with it..Prayers to everyone for health and for healing!!

Yeah, good for you, Terri. Sense of accomplishment and all that. Everything I have bought from Ikea for my sewing area all had to be put together, step by step. It's easy to get things turned around.
And won't it be nice to have some more shelving? What do hubbys know!
So I got a June 6 appt. with the fancy spine dr. that you have to jump through hoops to see. You'd think when they do PAIN management they wouldn't make people wait a month for their first visit. Anyway, the nurse said they will do an injection that same day. Ugh. Injection. I asked her what the injection was and she said it was most likely an epidural steroid... that make sense to anyone? I've been depressed that there's nothing to fix this, only 'pain management', but today I had a brighter thought: If my lack of disc has caused bones to damage my sciatic nerve, maybe the steroid can help the nerve heal, so it won't hurt until the next time my bones crush it somehow. Anyway, that was my bright thought! I just want to be able to sit still for more than 15 minutes without sciatic pain. I've got places to go!
