Sorry to hear that Sea is not feeling well. Hope shes back soon! It amazes me how some of you can just look at a pattern and enlarge it or draw it out etc...I see a lot of 8" or 9" blocks or bigger ones that I want for 12.5 but not good enough at math to figure out how to change them! Its a great ability for you all!! Beautiful blocks!!

This might help you... If I see a design that is basically a 4 patch, 9 patch or 16 patch, I know the parts need to measure as follows:

4 patch: 6.5" squares
9 patch: 4.5" squares
16 patch: 3.5" squares.

If you find a pattern that is broken down easily into those sizes, just engineer the parts to fit in their respective sizes.

Not all designs are 4, 9 or 16 patches, obviously... but a whole lot of them are!

Thank you all who have made blocks for me already. The Mickey ones are perfect for on point and the animal clowns are looking great. Terriamn, the green if fine, don't change a thing. Bought that fabric on a shop hop and never could figure out what to do with it.

Mostly I have been putting fabric choices together with your fabrics because we left home last Friday and will be in Florida until the beginning of April. Since I only get to bring one suitcase for fabric, I have to choose everything to bring and force myself to go to the fabric store if I bring the wrong stuff.

Here are two blocks that I have had a devil of a time photographing. Even without the flash, everything appears washed out.

For Ibex94: The lighter color is pale pink with sparkles, even though that is not what is showing here.

This one is for travelinggramma: I know it looks kind of gray, but all the greens are similar to the green in the center leaves. Hope you can see the difference in TG's green and the solid green I used as the background.

Terriamn, I'd be interested in your essential oils experience. I've just gotten into it through yoga. I'll email you about it.

I'm having a heck of a time today with pictures too. It's cloudy here with no sunshine and everything looks muddy to me.

Lovely blocks, Libster and Biblio....

Bibliostone, what is the name of the block you made for Ibex? I have never seen it and love it.

Sewbizgirl -

Really cool block! I didn't have any specific instructions. No color preferences. My only request is pieced blocks; no applique please. I figured the stripy fabric would be enough of a challenge.

Great blocks, everyone!
