I am bowled over by the dragonfly, wow.
Also the rose scrappy. This is like attending a master class, for me.
Mine is going out either later today or Monday.

Today's the 20th. It's the mail date. How is everyone doing? Because I don't have everyone down as mailed yet. My partner and I are both mailing Monday. We both had a lot going on and had some difficulties with the theme. So together, we switched to a theme that worked better for both of us and took the pressure off.
One of my dogs just had surgery again. And, I'm worried about him still. He gets bladder stones and they have to be surgically removed from a male dog. This is his 3rd surgery in a year and a half. I can't wait for him to just feel a little better. I feel so bad because he's in pain.

Here's the signup thread for August. Hope to see you there. http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...ml#post7632159
If you have not mailed your postcard for this month, I cannot add your name to the list for next month until you do. Thank you. If your running late for any reason, please touch base with myself and your partner.

Thanks GramE, I understand not over extending yourself. Hope you'll come back again when you have more time. In the meantime, have fun making all the blocks. (I really enjoy making different blocks that I haven't made before.)

I mailed mine to banwell earlier today. It is not quilted but embroidered, since I was going to be going from pillar to post most of the month. Next one will be pieced and quilted, I vow.
What a long, strange month August has been this year, for me, anyway. (I almost said 'was' - not over yet..)
I am proud of myself for beginning EPP (where you piece around a paper template, think I have that right) ... while in NYC, Dotty showed me some of her paper-piecing work & I bought some ready-made templates at CityQuilter & did a few diamonds yesterday... I might EPP September's card, that is, in a very simple fashion.
