I just finished getting my SP's package ready - oh I'm so excited! I hope she likes it as much as I do :)

I haven't seen her on this thread (ha ha.. didn't mean to make a pun)

She is receiving the 1st mug rug that I've ever made - it is tad bit smaller than most mug rugs but a little larger than a coaster. I'll take a picture in a bit and post it.

It is leaving on Monday heading to a state that has 72 counties. The zip code adds up to 18.

I love reading all the posts on this thread... it gives me great ideas on what to collect for sending in the future and builds my anticipation for the package someone is sending to me. And the chatter and humor can indeed make me laugh....never heard the one about waiting with anticipation like a flea dancing in a fry pan!

Mary,
I think she is called Rosy the Rivoter or something like that...made to look like it's from the 40's or 50's...lady with her hair up under a bandana and her shirt sleeves rolled up and showing her muscle...it's really cute fabric!

I hope to have my SP's package in the mail by Monday. I have everything I want to send, just have to package it up and go to the postoffice. She lives in two states and I have been to both. Has grandchildren and so do I, likes to quilt. Okay that is a given and has a high number zip code. I just hope she likes what I send.

Well, my zip code adds up to 18. I don't know how may counties we have, but I doubt it's 72, and I'm on this thread a lot. So, I guess it's not me. Still practicing my patience:-)

Rosie the Riveter - We Can Do It! I believe that was from WWII when the women had to go to work to help make airplanes n' such. My mom worked on those for Boeing. That is so cool. I should look for that fabric now.

Hey Candi, Sara, & Terryl,

This is what I picked up at the fabric shop today. I didn't a have to blame anyone as my DH went with me. I always end up coming home with more when he is with me.

Well, one of our members will be getting off the bench by the middle of next week. My SP package was sent out by the P.O. this morning and it is going to a state west of me that is between Louisiana and Arizona. Could it be coming your way?
Only my hairdresser knows LOL
