Hav, each Morning Star looks different, depending on fabrics. What a cool block!

Terri, it was a gorgeous day here too. Someone said it was supposed to turn cold again soon. I'm ready for this Spring weather.

    Question for NZQuilter:

Yours is my last block. I'm making a Double Star #2 block. I saw your request was for white background so I wanted to give you a choice. Only the center is sewn together so far. Do you prefer it with the purple daisy corners or the white corners? Whatever you like better I will finish. By the way, the colors are photographing horribly. The colors are cheddar yellow (like your flowers) and orange.

(Janice these are not for the gallery.)

My, SBG, they are both pretty! The option with the white corners will probably fit into my vision for the quilt. I have been thinking of having a second block, with a double Irish chain look, alternating with the BOOM blocks, thus the idea of the white backgrounds.

My block is perfect. I love paper piecing but with the boom fabrics, I'm always afraid I would run out of fabric. The morning star block being regular piecing, I love how your points are so precise. I strive to be that quilter. Thank you so much

Love my block Lstew. The tie-dye quilt is going to be stunning. It will be the first BOOM quilt for me.
