    Default Booms - New Host!

Good morning. I want to let you in on some big news regarding the future Booms. I feel the need to give up hosting due to serious time constraints. I’ll miss hosting a lot however Sewbizgirl has stepped in and will be leading us with Boom 28! Bonnie is an experienced Boomer and knows the ins and outs of what we do. The swap will be in fine hands and will continue to be a wonderfully fun experience for all.

Thank you for nearly 9 years of Boom Swap fun. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Next Boom I hope to be a participant; I know just the right fabric! Lol.

Please welcome Sewbizgirl in her new role as Host!

    Smile Southwest quilt top pictures

Thank you Janice for all the work you did. I had a lot of fun participating. Here is the picture of grandma's Southwest Native quilt top. Thank you to all who made blocks. Some of you made an extra one and I was able to sew all the blocks together, since there were enough, to make this perfect lap quilt/wall hanging top. I really like how it turned out and hope to quilt it soon and possibly bind with teal if I can find some. The blocks are stunning and perfect.

This quilt came out stunning. Thank you to all that helped make this quilt come together. It is finally going to "grandma", who is a most amazing well deserving lady.

She was speechless. Next she kept repeating, "Is it a quilt?" Then she she didn't let it out of her arms anymore. Thank you to all that helped me in making this quilt. Hugs

Annaquilts, what a wonderful gift and Grandma’s reaction is priceless. So happy!

Unfortunately, we’ve had an unhappy day here. Our pup, Ripley, took a serious turn for the worse and we had to euthanize her today. The vet came to our house which made it much easier for Rip. Our hearts are broken. I might not be around much the next few days but I’ll be sure to get your blocks in the mail as soon as I can. Still looking at Thursday or Friday.
