Anoka Quilter - sorry to hear about your birthday dinner not going so well. I know it stinks to expect to have a good dinner experience and then not. And these places are not cheap! Did you say anything to the manager?

Hope you have a better day today and have a chance to play with your candies!

My day ended less than pleasant last night as well. I fell, hit my head/face/front teeth on rough pavement, ruined my glasses, hurt my hand....UGH! I have doctor appointments for all this next few days.
But, I also have three days off from work, so my motto will be, "improvise, adapt, overcome" to do whatever quiltiness I can!

Anoka Quilter and Pinkflowers, so sorry about your "misadventures." Anoka please do write that review. Too many businesses seem to ignore customer satisfaction! If I seem angry it's because I've spent the whole day dealing with my own lack of customer service with 3 companies when I should be attaching a binding before bee meeting tomorrow. GRRRRR!!!

Feel better soon Pinkflowers. I've had some bad falls, but none like yours. OUCH!!!

Pink, heal well. Anoka, I've been boycotting Benihana since the 80s when I booked a party of 16 engineers from out of town & it took 6 hours to eat & everyone had an early next morning meeting! I told the restaurant ahead of time that we'd be there promptly at 6, quick dinner, no alcohol, all on one check, & were 15 minutes early but it was such a protracted meal I didn't get the check until 11:45! I don't get mad, I boycott & tell all my friends to do so! My friends have saved me so much $$$, time, & embarrassment on when & where to go & do things in town. I hope you know I thought of you before, during, & now after your birthday, and only wish you the best!!!
hugs,
dj

Pinkflowers, take advantage of all fo those doctor's appointments. I fell last fall the day before elections and did NOT go to the doctor's office. Bad idea. I ended up with some secondary problems that had nothing to do with the crashed face, that healed up beautifully, but I have no documentation that the bum knee was a result of an accident. Doing fine now but I will eventually will need a new knee! One just does not know that crash on the face will end up impacting another part of the body. Yes, dear, quilt on! At the very least just pet your favorite fabric and dream up new patterns.

Happy birthday Anoka Quilter! DH and I wet through the same experience but after an hour and a half we turned around and walked out. Hopefully the owner will read the reviews and take steps to make changes.
