Juanita Bean...I really like this idea of making a square from each person. Like a friendship quilt. I think I will do that this year with mine!!!

I did a "5 at 5" with the squares before.....would show case 25 squares from each person.

How will you put their name on it??

Thanks for sharing with us Sewbizgirl.... Love the 9 patch by color one. I need to make a baby quilt....looks like all I need to know is what kind of baby it will be....I'm sure I have enough squares!

Just to let you know that I am going out of town just for the weekend...scrapbooking again. I will check back Sunday or Monday. Monday will bring us another Birdie quilt pattern and another BIRTHDAY!

received card and candies from trish b yesterday. Thank you so much!
I now have all birthday candies from everyone except WMUTeach.
I mailed Jaba's birthday candies either the 26th or 27th. Oops! Just checked and it was picked up by our mail lady on 4/25.
I will mail the rest by tomorrow.

Hi Everyone, I've been less than healthy for a couple weeks but the sun is shining on me now.

I cheated today and opened 1 envelope, I needed 4 more pinks to get this "swoon" quilt put together. Low and behold all 4 that I needed were in djmat's envelope. Can hardly wait until Monday!!

Thanks I just bookmarked a new quilt choice! I can hardly wait. In two weeks I will be working a three day week for about 7 weeks. Yeah! That gives me two days per week to quilt! Watch out world the big ol'e bag of 2.5 inch squares will be getting smaller and smaller. Then comes my birthday month and it will fill up again. But I can make a lot of 9 patches between now and July...right?
