Miquilt, the candies I sent were just returned to me marked "return to sender, attempted - not known, unable to forward." The address is exactly the same as the one Barb sent. I guess this is just a goof since everyone else got the same address. I'll resend tomorrow. I'm sorry they will be a few days late.

Janice, I have made The fading squares twice and would honestly do it again but sadly I have used so many of may 2.5 squares that I do not have a good variety any more. How sad. September is coming and my choices will increase again! I do cut 2.5's from scraps that just happen with quilting but not enough to make this stunner. Your red shows up as brown which is pretty nice too. I used a mottled royal blue on one and black on another. 788 down and thousands more to go, right?

Janice McC, I just love 'turkey red'! I suppose the colors always look different in person than on a monitor, as it seems a little brownish on my monitor too. The quilts always look better in person. With the last block swap I did on QB, I was so pleased with the pictures of the blocks that were posted, but in person, wow, they were really nice. :-)

Janice....love your quilt! I hope some of my candy squares can be found in your quilt! What are your plans with your quilt? What size does this make? queen? Always looking for a candy pattern that looks nice!

So I have been busy finishing up a quilt that I started at the beginning of February! Finally is finished. I thought this one was a hard one. Had to do a "Y" seam. yep gonna try and stay away from that for awhile!
Not a single candy square here:

This past weekend I made this baby quilt: Disappearing 9 patch. Really like this pattern. I made it before and will continue to make this. I have no idea why they are sideways!

Not a single candy square here!

Hello ladies....

You will find in your PM box a message from me with May birthday addresses. I am going to Paducah tomorrow for a quilt show and won't be back until Sunday April 22. Please notice a few things about the May girls.

Jaba is on May 1st...so getting hers out sooner than later is better.

Also Gaijin's birthday is on May 23rd. She is going to be gone on her birthday please try and get hers out early also. Consider her birthday May 10th. for delivery. However you will not be considered late if you wait until the end of the month. Only for Gaijin. Sorry Gaijin I kinda messed up your dates. Hopefully everyone will delight you with your packages early.

And JuanitaBean well didn't want to leave her out....she just wants to do a happy dance every time she receives a package!

I will try and check in during the week. Have a great week.

Barb
