Swappers, please post pictures of how you have been using our little 2.5s I have two tops in progress and will post a photo later today of what I am working on. Or if you have found patterns that features our little fabric cuts, post those to use too. Here is my contribution. https://weddingdressblue.wordpress.com/star-kissed-quiltalong/

Well it is very quiet on the birthday board so I guess I will have an on time drawing. And it looks like everyone is in the drawing. It is so easy to be in an on time drawing....!

Wesing is the first winner.

A prize will be on it way to you Wesing.

Thank you everyone for being on time.

I think we should probably have a contest in the next few days. So stay tuned for your chance to win!
Thank you! I will let you know when it arrives.

Hi everyone! Hopefully you are all well and healthy.

My daughters are at last getting over their terrible flu. Which means that now I'm getting a bit more sleep each night. Whoohoo! I haven't been doing much quilting but I've been sewing a dress for myself for Easter. I'm making it nursing friendly, so hopefully it's not a complete flop. I'm not much good at dressmaking. Hubby is still working, and I'm very grateful for that. He is considered essential personnel where he works. So many people being laid off nowadays.

I promised a photo. Not finished as I planned but I did use all of the black 2.5 squares from last year's swap plus 100 more!. This is a variation on the Star Kissed pattern I referred to in an earlier. You can see where I am going here. Easy and if you went scrappy rather than just one color way, you can use up lots of those little birthday treats. This one will go to a nephew later this year or for Christmas.

Happy week-end, all.

Very nice! I like how you offset each block with its own color background.
I have started to sew my own 2.5" pieces together and have gotten addicted to cutting out the little squares. not allowing any repeats, though, I surprised myself at how many I could get from my limited stash and scrap pile!

Hi all, doing well here, hope you are too!
Teach, wonderful quilt, nephew is blessed!
I hope some of you will do the swap project this year using your squares/charms. It looks really pretty when scrappy! It was posted a while back.
Take care of yourselves.
hugs,
dj

Good afternoon, everyone. Hope you are all well. Our county is under a stay at home order until mid-April. I’ve got too much free time but have been spending it doing a bit of piecing for a swap, playing with my pups, reading and watching old movies with Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, Bette Davis, etc. The garden needs attention but I’ve ignored it for the last few days and the weeds are roaring back.

WMUTeach, love your wip. Hope you’ll post when it’s done. Anyone else have works in progress they’d be willing to share photos of?

Enjoy your day and stay well.

Absolutely will post. I added a narrow red sash and have a white and black for a final sashing and the back. I was thrilled when I unfolded the backing cut to discover it was a wide back! No patching the back to make it wide enough for the top. Later this week. I have tomorrow filled with designing my online class module for this week. But will then return my quilting room.

All is well in my neck of the woods.

I really like your Star Kissed version of the pattern. I think this is another one to add to the list!

Just a reminder we Do Not have a birthday in April this year. I have had a few of you think that you missed my private message.

Hope everyone is healthy and getting this time at home sewing!
