Ya it's very slow and seemed to get bad when I loaded my pictures why I don't know since they are all about 100kb or less so it shouldn't matter if I load them on one page or several pages.
Like the block you made though.

It may just be because there are quite a few photos on that page (mine included), and even though they're all resized, together they probably add up to a larger size. Oh well. As long as it eventually loads!

It amazes me when I see the same block pattern using so many different fabrics that it no longer looks the same! Wonderful work with colors and designs.
My DD and hubby brought be a stack of slacks that needed hemming - they are both wide and short. Some could be done on machine but the others I don't trust myself and hand stitch. One pair left. (why do we call one item a pair??)
Then since we gave them a rocking chair I have to make the cushions. They got the fabric - really high end at a close out price. But it does not slide. I now have to push it through the sewing machine. I only put one zipper and I already hate it and my hand is yelling. I would much prefer to sew blocks. But my stash is behind the pack n play and I not easily obtained which makes me get the cushions done!!
Keep posting everyone. We are having absolutely beautiful weather in MD today and plan on taking plenty of walks with little one around the campground!

Groovy Pieces' block, called Jacob's Ladder. I have to admit that I was a little "out of my box" on the color combination and was worried there wouldn't be enough contrast, but now that the block is finished, I think the colors look VERY nice together.
