Sea I have a question I am working on putting fabrics together yours is so open i sm overwheling myself I have about 6 different options im working on my question is who is your quilt for? You? A teen? A child? Baby? Some of the options I am looking at could send it in the wrong direction.
LOL I had to re-read that myself after you said that, I meant pops out.

Anyway, I don't have any idea who the quilt will go to. Around here it's usually the first person that claims it. So just pick any pattern you like and just go with it. Some how it will all go together.

Thanks Janice for posting the pics so we can tell what has already been made!
These blocks are turning out amazing! I envisioned this as MY red and white quilt, but it may end up my daughter's. She just asked me to look for red fabric on sale for her. Red has been her favorite color since she could see colors. Beat up her cousin when she was two over a red teddy bear rocking chair.

Question for you ladies that live in a year around warm climate. Here in Minnesota the majority of folks tane a summer vacation and go " north to the lake" and in winter we run to a sunny warm spot. For those of you that have warm sunny days year around what or where do you go for your vacations? Terriamn

Other Warmer places. No seriously while I realize I live in a mild climate and do not have the horrifying cold you deal with this is as cold as I can take any more it's what I am use too. I live inland in San Diego county what that means in the winter from the coast to about 20 miles east the daytime weather is only maybe 5-8 degrees different. Generally high 50's low 60's costal and 5-8 degrees cooler inland. But during the summer the beautiful coastal low 80's means mid 90's to 100 where I live. So we head west when we can't take it any more.

When we vacation in the summer we go to places we can enjoy water sports and activities , Hawaii, lake Powell, lake mead, the colorado river, our own beach communities of Oceanside, pacific beach la Jolla or Coronado. Once we went on a caribbean cruise Winter vacations are more warm weather and water Costa Rica, puerto Rico, and we are talking about southern Mexico next fall/winter.

Hmmm I'm seeing a pattern here we really really like warm air and warm water.

Billi we are also water babies. Love being in warm water. Didn't think about it getting to hot. We might get a week of stinkin hot weather in a summer but usually not more then that. We leave Saturday for the Mexican Riveria, have a swim up room. Means we will be in the pool or ocean from sun up till sundown.
