That's exactly what I've had to do, walk away. I'm up to my eyeballs in my sister's paperwork and finances, trying to get it straightened out along with getting her house ready to sell. And of course there's mom to care for and my own home. Can you spell "swamped"? I just don't have the patience or time to work out this problem when I'm occupied elsewhere. Ugh. Only a few more weeks and I'll join you by that pool with a beverage of my own.

More great blocks
janice I handled my Dad's estate and I think the bad part of that is you don't have time to grieve. I never cried for my Dad and that's not me. Someday I will probably have a big breakdown and get it out. September and the first half of October are terrible for me. My allergies go crazy then and I get terribly emotionally. Pretty early for the tears, might have to go visit the doc. Hubbie asked if I was taking my medication and said yes dar it's that time of year again and he just groaned

Good for you Janice! Sometimes we have to honor ourselves with empathy and compassion. Its so easy to forget that! Prepare to be gentle with yourself and give yourself permission to restore and rest!
