Jaba would be our resident expert on that front. I'm thinking it has something to do with your age and attitude, but I could be wrong. I just love being able to thumb my nose at the world and wearing my red and purple together. LOL
You know, my Mama always said that red and pink, red and purple and blue and green absolutely do not go together. Well, I guess we quilters have proven that wrong!
Okay, Jaba, enlighten us here on the finer points of being a Red Hatter.

Nelco, I hate to ask but do you have any fabric left? I had issues with your block and had to redo part of it but it still didn't come out to be 12.5 or square for that matter. I'm afraid that if I rip it out I'll rip the fabric since it is a paper pieced block and the stitches are so small.

Sorry just got on here and yes katsdar is right, 50 and older for the Red Hatter's, under 50 is lady in waiting and wears pink. When is the next Boom???? Think I just might send out red and purple fabric with a little note about what's it's for. We are co-hosting the National Convention here next year and I have been asked to make a quilt for auction. I'm working on one now but I could make them 2.......

I will definitely save my patterns for the purse and the hat for next time then. I can change up the colors on the purse to be sure it fits in.

Janice, I hope you're taking notice here. Bless you for all the time and work you put in on these Booms for us. You make us a special group. We're pretty well mapping out Boom 17 already. LOL
Okay, Everybody....this gives us plenty of time to find the perfect Red Hatters pattern(s) and/or fabrics!

Well Moonwork, I went somewhere over the rainbow yesterday & found this.

and that little white stringy looking thing hanging from the blue diamond is part of the fabric.
