I agree finding a solid white that you can't "read the paper through" is hard, I think it is one of the main reasons wow fabric is used so often.

Could be Kass, I always buy Kona solid white and black in the 4 yard cuts. I love it and no "see through". It threads a little but it is nice fabric and washes well.

Forgot to say I package fabric for one group today and it is ready to go!

Only thing worse is being able to read through a black fabric
You are right that is exactly why I always use and ask for wow.

Anna, yes, I didn't have enough blocks after the first boom and since I had several different fabrics, I tried to make sure no one had a repeat in boom 9. I have Boom 10 finished and Boom 13 is in the flimsy stage, but as I am moving in the next 10 days they are packed in a box and I don't have photos of them on this device.

I have never had a problem with fabric from fabric4less. The WOW is always good and their other fabric is brand names and not like Wal Marts. which is thin. I LOVE Kona white and black solids and try to use that if possible. I dont buy a whole bolt of that but enough to finish a project. The labyrith that i finished and is at the quilters was made with black Kona and I cant wait to see it finished! The ONLY bad thing Ive found about fabric4 is you have to buy by the bolt and if you want anything besides b/w you have 15 yards of one design but the price on the 108 backing fabric is well worth it! Guess I better get to ironing my fabric!

I am drooling over everyone's art! Is there a recommendation for what size of object works best in the key fabric? I'm thinking of using this one but the objects are about 3".

Well, LOVE this fabric! Reminds me of a trip to NOLA last year! I find that fabric with larger elements like this one may limit block choices. I'd pick a block that would keep a large piece of this fabric intact. There are plenty of blocks that would work and even more if you don't mind losing the theme a bit. Other opinions?

I think the fabric is nice, it has some very fun elements and great color. I think if you choose to use it I think you will get some blocks that keep some of the bigger prints in tact, but many will be cut into smaller shapes and you will likely lose some of the print feel, but keep the color. So if that works for you go for it.
