The pressing issues are "which way?". I never know. But this afternoon I started pressing open, & I'm at peace with that.

GramE, glad you are ok now, hope you can relax and have fun.

don't know how you are managing with 4 dogs. We also have a spring break 4 legged visitor. He is doing pretty well but my ole gal keeps stealing her bones and toys. Fine when hubby is at home but makes me nervous when I'm alone

Whoa, girl, whoa! You are way overthinking this! I'm going to email you but hang in there. Don't quit now. Gentle hugs...smile!

[QUOTE=GramE;7500706]Ok, I'm not sure what time this group meets but I need a therapy session NOW! I was having a nifty ole time working on a square. Now for most of the last year my sewing had been hand sewing, so me & the machine need to get reacquainted. Then I got one of those cartoon word balloons over my head filled with theses words, THEY WILL SEE THE BACKSIDE OF YOUR SQUARES!

Amazing how how often I have to tell myself to breath. I thought that was automatic?

Traveling Gramma, I thought there was only over thinking. There's another kind?

Ok ladies, 4 dogs are driving me batty. How long does spring break last? The two visiting dogs are fine, it's my own dogs who are huffy about their stuff & spaces being invaded! I'm locked in my room with G'pa in charge of dogs for now!
Well atleast you over sized and can cut down, mine were under sized. It is hard to add to it at that point. I had to reinvent the pattern and thankfully found some good solutions because I was out of fabric.

Jaba, you sure do not have a race car in your avatar for nothing. It represents you! You go girl.

As long as the block is 12.5 x 12.5 and isn't all warped out of shape I don't think I care too much for the back... I have starch and I'm not afraid to use it to tame most unruly issues.
