Yes this, Kona snow or another one of the Kona whites.

I buy a fair amount from other people's stash. This white was sold to me as Kona snow but I question it as before I washed it it was very stiff. After I washed it, it shrunk 1 inch per yard, it was the most delicious fabric. I liked it so I used it. But I normally use Kona from Kaufman. We also have Moda Bella Grey and I was some what disappointed in it. It shreds a lot and it is still kind of thick. That is the draw back with Kona, it tends to be a bit thick for me to piece smaller pieces with. I have heard really good things about connecting threads solids and Walmart Waverly solids but I have not had a chance to try any of those. Something I have also used is linen. At first it feels kind of weird but it washes up really nice and is very strong.

I was surprised at Jclinganray's white, since it was the same make as the black, but sooooo very different in thickness and texture.

I am also one that has a block that is the same in pattern. By the way the block was made by the time the other was posted as it appears some of us were working on the same pattern. OK I saw Jaba's post to others to just leave it. If I get to it I will pick it apart and maybe I can recreate it or better a different pattern. If anyone has any ideas on how to redo the Ohio star into another pattern please let me know. There is not much fabric left to speak of. I have some other blocks I am redoing and there is still time. I really want you to have the block you wanted Jaba.
Hey Kassaundra had the idea about remaking the Ohio star, she said make it into an arrow, look for her reply and it was also said don't worry about it

Thanks katsdar. I looked at it and right now that looks frightening. I don't know if I could make kassaundra's blocks. LOL DH says to leave it as it is a perfect 12 1/2 inch squared block.
