So who's ready for 17? today after spending entirely too much time picking out a ton of my daughters quilt I was looking for a happy place so figured out what to do for the next boom and if my washer was not on the fritz I would be prepping fabric right now. I'm pretty excited about the fabrics for the next one I'm hoping that will keep me motivated to fix my mistake and get this quilt done so I can justify starting a new one.

I think I have a fabric picked, I need to measure and see how many f8's in it. It is a red, I'm thinking turquoise or teal w/ wow.

oooh that sounds cool.

I'm thinking a black and white music themed quilt. with a touch of red.

My daughters BF is a musician and works as an audio engineer and is not a fan of tons of color. He does like red I have been collecting music related fabrics for awhile now trying to decide on a pattern I think you guys are just who I can turn to for fun and creative blocks.

Billi: Will this work with your colors? It seems to match exactly the flowers but isn't what would be called a pink...more coral pink to me.

Checking in with you wonderful overachievers. Has everyone turned their blocks in already? If so, will be sure to get on them and try to fit them into my busy schedule this week. Was planning on starting them next week barring that I stay on task this week and nothing interrupts my weekend of customer quilts. Have the yard work all done. Hired a young man to come and help so I would not hurt self. Which I already did, dog (8 month coon hound) went chaotic and I fell with him onto the hard rocks. Yep, hurt good, but accupuncture and chiro immediately is helping to get thru it. Now to heal the bruises. This held me up a bit on the quilting and piecing.
