Boom 17 - OPAL

My poor ADD brain is in overload! If you all could have seen my sewing table, you might have gotten a bit nervous. I want to look at everything all at once. Some I'm drawn to, some give me pause, but I want to make you each a great block that fits your request. I have chosen a starting spot. But it is a Topaz!
Oh Jaba, my screen has the same problem as before, it gets blurry when I look at my blocks! So wonderful!

Wow, we have been so prolific today! Jaba I LOVE my two pretty blocks... thank you!
I love all the rest of them, too. That red and gray star by Libster is so pretty and so perfect for her fabric.
Here is my offering for today, a block for GramE!

Somebody needs to make GramE a red hat! Wish I'd thought of it sooner...

Thank you, kk.
I made two more tonight... both for quiltermomma.

This red fabric is amazing... it looks so good with gray.

My Civil War book calls this a Tennessee block, tho it usually has a third color for the center square.

Sewbizgirl, thank you for such a marvelous block! These fabrics have been on the shelf forever. It was just the right time to dust them off. I was planning on putting this in my send off to someone box, but now I'm not sure!

Jaba I love my block is perfect thank you.
Me I'm a bit behind I've gone through the Opal pkg. to pull some fabrics but spent the weekend out with Mr Bill so maybe I'll be able to get some sewing done today.

libster block
Libster, a little design help please. You should see your fabric and the light grey in this peek. I have a burgundy that reads as a solid and a black tone on tone. Which do you prefer?
