ScubaK, it's great fun. You get to play with everyone else's fabrics and get back your own blocks and have a quilt all ready to assemble!

Here's some pictures of the blocks and quilts from past Boom swaps:

Weather here in Mo is horrible...I love snow but this darn ice is dangerous! All kinds of wrecks and slide offs..Im glad Im home till Monday. Now that I have readers for my eyes I can see great with or without... Glad I had it done and would do it again if I had to but Dr assured me they wont grow back!! Scubak its addictive!! Ive done about 12 of the swaps and not only do you get your fabric made into wonderful blocks you also make a LOT of friends while doing it..I have to warn you...there are a "couple" that are a little nuts...but thats what makes it fun!! They know who they are!! LOL

Good evening I have been diligently working to get some projects done. Here's another baby quilt for another great Nephew I am the Lorax. I told you I have no control on the size they are going to be and this one needed to be pretty big. He won't get to use it till later so I'll probably make a small cuddle blanket too.

I'm shipping this and the Laurel Burch quilt off to the quilters next week. If feels good to have a couple quilts checked off my list.

I keep coming back to look at these alternate blocks... the little squares. They look like a star from far off. Wouldn't they make a neat Boom block? I just love them.

yes, and I left early this morning for a dr appointment in another time zone an hour earlier than mine. But I got many emails from Facebook saying my friends had reported I'd been hacked and they had removed the duplicate acct. They got my sister too. Sorry for the inconvenience.
