Kass, great ship in a bottle block! You never cease to amaze me!
Sewbiz, hope you and your family will be safe from the storm.

I got the math figured out. Made all the freezer paper templates and cut out all the main pieces. Might get a little sewing done tonight.

Thanks Karen! Family in LA seem to be ok, although nearby Lake Charles is flooded like Houston. It dropped a lot of water there. We are under tornado watch until tomorrow evening. There have been tornadoes and damage scattered about Mississippi. The power is still on, so I'm good!

I've been sewing strips for a puss in the corner quilt, for donation. I'm about ready to cross cut the strip sets. It sure goes together fast!

I love watching your thought processes Kass. I've only paper pieced a few times. It would be fun to make my own patterns. I do that the easy way with fusible applique.

Well I needed owl eyes, (stylized of course since the owl is obviously not realistic) I searched the quilt store w/o success, so when I left work today I stopped in at Hobby Lobby (my only other option) and I found it, anyone else see owl eyes?????
