I have some chicken blocks from a swap, but haven't made the quilt yet.

Bluelady, maybe you can join us again for Boom 20. Once the Boom Bug bites you, always a Boomer from then on!
I am clearing off the sewing table and seeing if the machine is working. It has been 3 years since I did any piecing or quilting. I truly feel the need to be creative and again and these swaps are soo great for that! If things are moving along okay I shall join the next Boom!

Marija and I are getting together to make sure our blocks will pass inspection actually I just love seeing Marija's blocks. We are going to combine our extra fabric in case we have time for bonus blocks.

Janice I'd like to give Marija her block. It won't do well folded until it gets quilted with batting. Then folding it will be fine. If you like, I'll put a Marija bag with a note in it with the rest of my blocks so I don't screw up your count.

Id love to see the chicken block quilt. It would be fun to make a chicken block. Wouldn't it be fun to have a ' portrait' of one of your chickens? A portrait chickens quilt.

Three blocks completed today! I sorta made up the pattern for Jaba's, NanaKathy55 is a block called Khanam's Surprise and Terriamn is a modification of a block named Heart's desire. I had fun with the fussy cutting on all those little bugs! I bought Quiltmakers 1000 blocks a few weeks ago (with my JoAnn's coupon) and have had so much fun trying out new blocks!

Okay... two more blocks. I made an error on the one for SEWBIZGIRL and will be making another. I did not see the preference for no white. Valuable lesson learned... read the slip before beginning. Jaba's blocks needed a light house so I made her quilt one.

The chicks have already grown so much, Kass. They look great. Awesome photo of the rooster, too! Always love seeing your birds.

Here's my baby pic.... We had a baby visitor right behind the house today. She stayed around there, feeding, for over an hour!

Love the pictures of your critters. I so miss living in the country and miss having chickens.

Here is my pride and joy. This is Steven "Hyde" and he is seven months, eight months on the 4th. He loves his Grammy (me).
