Sorry you have to have hand surgery, LJDugas... Smart of you to get all your blocks done so you can now let your hand rest! Come back and see us when you can type (peck) again.

Here are two more... Bonus blocks! The first is an Anvil for Jaba, the second is a Waltzing Matilda for mjpEncinitas.

Terri, thanks, it is improvised. You start with a piece of fabric and then slice and insert, slice and insert. I did all the verticals first, then the horizontals, but if you alternate vert. and hor. you get more of a woven look. It's like the Pickup Sticks quilts, but with wider pieces. It's fun.

I don't know what the name of this is, Terri. I saw it on Pinterest and drew it out and went from there.

Such beautiful blocks being made, love to see all of the pictures. There are so many quilt blocks with names I haven't heard about until joining this swap. For me this swap has been a great learning experience, I'm enjoying every minute of it.

I love my block, Libster... thank you! I smiled the minute I laid eyes on it. Love how the stripes look in that fan.

Your block for B'stone is so pretty too. You got the birds perfectly placed.

I'm working on some bonus blocks too... whatever I have enough for. Some pieces just had to go into my scrap bin, as there was so little left. And some had been all used up! Love it when that happens... I feel so thrifty! I'll post today's blocks as soon as I finish.
