God has been good to this old woman.
I understand your blessing! What joy was captured I that snapshot! My nearly 2 year old great-granddaughter lives right across the street from me so I get surprise visits. I know your heart is full! Thanks for sharing the pic.

those are beautiful! Sewbiz, am I right in assuming you sent fat 1/8s, all of the SAME fabric, floral on the first and star wars on the second, and then members added their own fabric and made the blocks? And, GramE, if I join a boom, could I make the same block for everyone, just out of their own fabric?
I try to fit the block to the fabric but sometimes I get a favorite block and I begin to think it looks good with every fabric. Most send all the same, but not always. It is hard to use just their fabric. Blocks must be 12 1/2" square so you have to add some of your own. Some fabrics lend themselves to needing just one color added, some need 2,3 or more. That's what I like. It's like making little mini Quilts.

Great pic Libster, glad you had such an amazing day. I usually like making all different blocks but last boom I think I ended up w/ 8 blocks made from the same pattern, but they all looked completely different. We had a lot of stripe fabrics in that boom but I think I even added more. lol

I have a Pinterest board for saving quilt blocks.

Well, thanks for all your tips. Grandsons #3 & #7 were here and showed me how to take a screenshot of the page I'm on and then I can save to wherever I want to! Yeah!

Woo, hoo Boomers! All Summer packages will go out tomorrow. You will get your tracking numbers directly from USPS.com sometime tomorrow morning. The packages are all sealed now but some must be taped as they are filled to the top.

Let the fun begin!
