Boom 19 - Summer
#22
I hope you got my reply to your email Janice. I have read it.
My pkg goes out on Monday!
Joan, what I do with block patterns is save them to my pinterest board called "Blocks I Love". Then I have them all there for easy access. I have a laptop, so it's easy to take it to my cutting table and work right off the computer. Printer ink is so expensive!
Between Quilter's Cache, Jinny Beyer's site, and now this patchwork square site, I think I have plenty of choices!

Thanks for the site Sewbiz, looks like lots of fun eye candy ahead. Lots of times I print out the blocks I'm interested in also. Internet can be spotty for us.Dh and I rode our jet ski's today for the first time this summer, it has been to cold and windy before this. Love the wind in my face. Enjoy skimming across the water at 50 mph but motorcycle's scare me to death.

Tscweaves, of course you may lurk! And you may post as well if there's something that interests you or you see something you like. Some of our lurkers have become Boomers.

Bootsy, this is a brand new thread and we've only had a couple of dozen posts. It'll start lengthening up pretty soon as the chat gets underway.
And now might be a good time to tell a little about yourselves for the benefit of the newbies and for us to catch up on what's been happening with you so far this summer. Who will go first?

This summer
Hi Janice I will be sending today and will text you with the tracking # when I return. This summer has been quiet been working. My husband was diagnosed with Parkinsons and its looks like its going to be a long haul for the both of us. I am retired from nursing so I know what to expect in the future. He is seeing a specialist next week maybe he can get him something to help him with the tremors. This boomer will help me to keep focusing on other things besides work and this situation.
Welcome all new boomers best advice I can give is to enjoy!! when you receive your blocks back be prepared to be amazed. Just work at your own pace and construct at your own level whatever you make I am sure it will be amazing. Looking forward to receiving from you.
