Boom 20 - Quail 3 month group

Kassaundra, I am not sure why your fabric was so difficult. I had a plan for it, cut it, then that plan did not work, tried another, had to rip out the center three times, still did not go together, then the 2"hst did not lay flat, had to rip apart again, then I said to heck with those, went and searched thru fabric, pulled my Jinny Beyer to match the floral print you sent, greens were not right, but that blue, yum. So you got a modified dugout block. I was watching the Quilt Show with Alex and Ricky, well she did a presentation on an adaptation of a Churn Dash, and so I thought why not give that a try. I like it and that center is spot on.

Great blocks, QM. Thank you for mine -- it's lovely.
Isn't it strange how a pattern that seems so easy can sort of "turn on you"? lol I've been working on one for several days like that. Left it alone yesterday, hoping I'll have better luck today.
