I have been buying Fiskars scissors for years, I love the spring loaded ones for fabric. Anyway when I started w/ the booms I got a 6 and 12 square up ruler and got fiskars b/c I liked their markings and b/c I have loved their scissors. Anyway the ink started wearing off so I got another 6 incher thinking I had a "bad batch" w/ the ink, and it was worn worse. Anyway it wore off quickly too, so I contacted the company a couple of weeks ago, and they sent me 2 replacement sets no hassle at all.

That was great customer service Kassandra

went to my granddaughter’s play last night. We were gone about 4 hours, the longest I have been out side of house since surgery. Still feel pretty decent today. Might be able to finish up my last block

Glad you are feeling stronger, Terri. It takes a while.

Kass I looked at my rulers and they are all Omnigrids. Never had any problem with markings wearing off.

I use Gingher scissors.

They are the only brand I have had to wear off the markings. Kinda a double sword. I am glad they stood behind their product, but would rather the product was good enough not to need to. Guess I will see how these stand up.

Everyone is doing wonderful piecing! It’s been inspiring seeing all the blocks.

I’m going on the cruisin quilters shop hop today. We have 9 shops within 35 minutes. We are taking two days to see all of them. 30 minutes north than 30 minutes south. I’ve got a big list. Im going up right now to check out all the boom fabrics and see if I need to buy anything to go with your fabric. Hopefully this will get me jump started on the boom again!

That is something I miss so many wonderful shops in the county. I always broke it up into 2 days too I tried a single day once it was brutal I didn't enjoy the last couple of shops. One of my favorite finds was the fat quarter shop in Vista it's in an old house with some pretty nice antiques and they were packed to the brim with fabrics. Have fun share some pictures of your adventures.
