Boom 20 - Quail 3 month group
#1414
The very first swap group I started in (on another site) was having a swap that had only a few people in, so I joined in w/ their swap this time. It was pink hearts on a wow background. Here is the one I did (stripes of course!)

Thank you for the nice comments. I really enjoyed making every block. Some fabrics took a lot of thought, and others just screamed what they wanted to be. The dimensional looking block is called Easy 3D and is from the 1000 blocks book. The request was white, black and gray. My mind couldn't go anywhere except 3D. lol
I've decided to admit one really silly quirk. Sewbiz got the simplest block because it's so hard for me to cut thru birds and animals.
Janice, thank you (repeat many times) for doing the gallery. I went there almost every day to see the quilts coming together. Since I'm a newbie, I used it as a reference tool to see what kind of patterns and techniques other swappers would be expecting. I would have felt lost without it!
Thank you everyone for making this one of my best swap experiences. I'm already picking my fabric for 21.
