This seems to be the block I like for Boom 21. This is for MonaG. She wanted red.

Very cool and pretty block for Jayne, Terri! It looks like a quadruple pinwheel. Haven't come to that one yet in my book.

Jayne, Bon Voyage! Have a fun and safe trip! Remember we will need to see lots of pics of the ocean and Tahiti, please.

Here are three from Van Gogh traveling exhibit. This exhibit was going to France for 2 months after leaving Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show Saturday night.

It was incredible to see how multiple people interpreted famous paintings. I chose two different ones of Cafe Terrace at Night. I was agog at the detail in the eye.

If you get a chance to see one of the two traveling Van Gogh exhibits, it is fun to see the texture, beads, stitches and all the details in person.

Stafar, that is a pretty block for Libster. Wow, such dedication in the midst of recovery and wondering about the pathology reports. Glad you are going to have a friend help you turn your toe claws back to toe nails tomorrow.

Terriamn, yay for a/c. I am so happy that today and the next two are in the 80s before it gets hotter. Was able to enjoy gardening tonight. Very eye-catching block for JayneW.

JayneW, hope your time in Tahiti is everything you hope it to be. Safe travels.

DarcyShannon, love the Van Goghs! It's so much fun to see quilt interpretations of famous paintings.

Great block you made for Mona... I like that block too. It looks really sharp in your colors.

Good morning, Boomers. I keep forgetting to thank you all for the photos you’ve been posting. The vast majority are 200kb or smaller. I know for most of you it’s an extra step or two but I greatly appreciate the time you take to shrink them. Thanks!

We have AIR and I am relishing it. The smart aleck guy who was here Monday is no longer with the company, thought that was interesting. We lucked out and the very spend part that broke down has a 10 year manufacturing warranty leaving us to pay only for labor at $120 an hour. This tech was older and very apologetic about the labor cost. Great tech.

Only one block today and this is from the third edition of Around The Block, called Editor for Jayne

I really like this block, Terri. I'm going to have to see about getting Around The Block 3.

I have found a positive with my mother-in-laws surgery and rehab... I got to play with my EQ8 and I have designed 17 blocks. I cannot wait for the weekend to sew some of them. That has to be the funnest design program I have ever used.
