Sewbiz - you have certainly been busy and looks like you are really enjoying the chance to play more with your quilting -
GramE - your vision came through on your two quilts - wowser. Always amazes me to see how all the blocks play together.

You Boomers have been very busy w/ your blocks the quilts and quilting have been awesome! This month has been a busy one for me and my family. It has been bitter sweet. My husband lost his father the day before our 27th wedding anniversary. He died peacefully at rest, and had a long life of faithful service to our Creator. He was within days of having to enter a nursing home, instead he passed peacefully at home. We did inherit his elderly blind dog, Pepper is learning his way around the house and where the dog door is, but still gets turned around some. I made wall hangings for each of Gary's siblings (and Gary) out of his father's plaid shirts, so I have been quilting too! lol It will be no surprise to you ladies that I did repeat fussy cutting! lol lol lol

I made a post of the pics of the wall hangings, many of you have seen them there but I'll post them here too.

The only reason I delayed posting the news here was we seem to have had so much bad news lately as a group, I didn't want to add to it.

Those are gorgeous and very meaningful, Kass. So sorry for y'all's loss. How wonderful that FIL passed peacefully at home before having to go through the upheaval of moving into a nursing home.

Pepper is lucky to have you, too!

Kass, so sorry for the loss of your FIL. He went the way that I would wish to. Bless you for making the wall hangings for your in-laws. They will mean so much to each of them. Each one of them is beautiful.

I've been looking at all of your beautiful blocks & quilts you've made. Gram E I love how you arranged your blocks for your quilt! Kass so sorry about the passing of your Father in law. You did an amazing tribute to him with his clothes and the beautiful wall hangings. Sewbiz great job with Bibliostones blocks. You're all such a creative inspiring group!

I'm hoping to join next time. Janice when are you going to start a new group, January?

Good to hear from you Muse! Glad you are going to get back into the next swap. I was looking at the older galleries that Janice has temporarily opened up, and there were some great blocks you made!
