This might be a good option for people like me who are intimidated by all those blades most Dresdens have.

The book has templates in it that can be traced or photocopied, so the ruler isn't absolutely critical, but it's worth the money (IMO) for the convenience.

Edited to add: Here's a link that tells more about it. https://www.meandmysisterdesigns.com...dresden-ruler/

I especially like that the interior star has finished edges. No need to applique' a center onto it.

QuilterMomma's Beach Ball block I posted earlier was made with the same ruler. It's one of the patterns in the book.

The blocks you ladies are making look fabulous, I'm so jealous! I sewed a little yesterday and started making some blocks with my fabrics so I can put together quilts when I get yours back. Moonrise, love the dresdan you made, it's just perfect. Thank you so much

Jaba, I'm setting up your own little gallery page right now. Check it out in a few minutes. You'll find all your blocks in there.

I have an unplanned afternoon off ( not feeling well), I hope to get started sewing some blocks today.

A Summer pinwheel. Fun fabrics to go with ibex’s stripes.

Thanks. At the rate the blocks are being made, those pix will disappear quickly.

I think the blue and yellow coordinate nicely with your floral. It was a pleasure stitching this one for you. Hope it suits you.
