Sewbiz I also finished your side swap block but didn’t take a picture. It’s in envelope ready to mail tomorrow.

Weather forecast was for 6” to 10” of snow here. Looks like at the most 4. All the public schools are closed till Thursday because of the extreme frigid temps. Snuggled in today but do have to go out Tuesday and Wednesday when the temps will be in the minus25 to 30 range. Will start to warm up Thursday when we leave for Mexico.

Can you tell I’m ready to start on the boom?

    MJP- gorgeous block!

Terri- your body is going to be in total shock from one day to the next when you go to Mexico. Try to stay warm tomorrow and Wednesday. Think about us next week.

Not to worry, Terri... I'll take a picture of your block and post it when it gets to me.

I bet you are excited about your trip! Warm tropic weather, ahead.... It's going to be hard to come back. Stay safe and enjoy your trip.

I’ll post your side swap blocks to the gallery if you all wish.

I’m sorry to hear about the goof on the quilt. You’ll figure out how work it out so you’ll be satisfied with it. . Stepping away for a bit will give you a little perspective. Btw, wonderful use of your time making your green and white blocks. I love the contrast between the fabrics.

Oops! The goof was on on my part. Not Libster. Sorry! Ignore the host who hadn’t had her coffee yet.

Here are a few blocks for my Boom 22. My star points are extremely off. That it is how I figured out that I was not sewing accurate 1/4 inch seams.

That quarter inch seam can be elusive! Practice blocks definitely help. Good for you!
