Terriamn, Hope your days are getting better. You have been on my mind.

Kass, your ties for Gary are extraordinary. you have such talent.

Libster, glad you are back to the land of the internet.

I have a second job that I keep to spend the earnings on my crafting habit. Well I have been working way to much overtime lately due to the fact that they can't keep people hired. The job is not hard but the people applying are really not reliable. They are young people in highschool who think it's ok to call off when something better comes along for the evening. Responsible adults do not want the job because you can't live off the pay. (minimum wage)
I finally had to tell them I could not work again until Monday. I wanted the Easter weekend off. I hated to do it, but I need some me time.

Lstew, glad you are taking some time for you. You need down time to refresh your body and mind.

Terri, those blocks are adorable but LStew made them, including the vivid Christmas block for Janice. The basket of fruit is so sweet. I love all of them and think the turtle, LStew made will be perfect in the boy’s quilt.

I will go on the previous page and admire the other blocks as well.

Hav4Boys, I love seeing your grandson help by sorting the buttons. How fun. I am glad you get to enjoy his company and it reminds you of your time with your grandma.

Thank you for the block you made for me. Also, I really enjoy seeing everyone’s work while you are finishing up.

Jayne, I hope that you will continue to settle in with your dogs in your new home. I am glad you love your old-style cottage. We moved into a house last year that will be 100 years old next year. Even though it has been updated it has kept the craftsman’s style look with same style windows etc. It is incredibly hard and foreign to go through a divorce. I am glad you have a strong support system.

I will post pictures of my tulips soon. It requires a few extra steps I’m not ready to do tonight. Hope everyone has a Happy Easter.

Lstew2212, thank you for my colorful Christmas Blocks!

Laters, I’m slammed right now. Will probably be out of touch through most of the weekend. My son and his gf arrive tomorrow morning for a super short visit but the house still needs a top to bottle cleaning whether they’re here 24 hours or 24 days. Will try to sneek in to see what’s happening. Enjoy your weekend!

Lstew - love all the blocks, but the basket of apples is perfection. It will incorporate so well into my quilt.
And yes, if you don't stand up for yourself - the world will take over.
Everyone - have a blessed weekend. Weather here has been so beautiful and I hope to make the most of it.
