You are on a roll Pamela. I love the blocks.

Meanwhile I’m plodding along. Mrs. Merkle this one is for you. Can you say Kluge? I finished the block, including ironing and sewing on the raw edge applique, and I discovered one of the blades had a cut in the middle. I took that blade out and replaced it. My husband couldn’t find which blade it was but my son could. One of our families favorite sayings is “it’ll never be noticed on a galloping horse and that’s the only kind I ride”. My husband told me that horse isn’t even trotting. I’ll probably make a second block for you. I fussy cut all the good stuff but I have similar Kaffe fabric I can use. Are you in both booms?

Today I finished my block for themerklefamily. I don't know why the colors in the picture are so flourescent, but that is how they came out. Tried both with a flash and without, so I am blaming the light in the condo.
The pink I used is the same as what is in the fabric. This block is called Lily Patch.

Oh no MJP, and it is so pretty, that makes it even more tragic!

Great blocks and baby and big brother pics today. Glad the mom is on the mend.

I am working on the concept for Jayne's block. I usually don't sew a mock up, but I did on this one just to make sure my concept was sound and "doable". Glad I did b/c I know now I will have to add a border to make it work. Here is a spoiler for the block, it is designed around you being a math teacher.

Well I would use it if it came to me. I think the fix came out very well. Can you tell which blade was replaced? I think mrs Merkle will end up getting two good blocks.

i love the fluorescent block Kassaundra. I’ve never seen a Lily patch block.

This block is so glorious it is glowing. Haha. Very pretty. It is strange how the combination of camera and screen can bring out colors that aren’t seen in person.

Wow, had a couple really busy days and haven't been on the board. I was welcomed back with an adorable picture of Hav's new grandbaby, then followed with amazing blocks from Cheesehead, TG, Terriamn and Pamela! Wow, that are fabulous.

Then a teaser from Kass about my block! Wow, I'm glad I stayed up a few minutes late to check the board.

MJP I am glad you found a fix. It is a pretty block.

Here is yours. I hope you like it while you and your galloping horse ride by.

Pam, I love your most recent additions. I did the Road to Oklahoma this time too for a few blocks. I just didn’t know the name.
