Wow Libster, those violets certainly do like the exposure from that window!
Worked on a block yesterday just to warm up until the F8's are returned back to us.

Thanks Janice for letting us know... biting nails waiting to know mine arrived
Quick FYI. I believe the bad weather in various parts of the country is wreaking havoc with package delivery. Only half of those due in today have made it to my town and those are out for delivery. I know the others will show up sooner or later. (Yes, I said it!) Anyway, I’ll post as they roll in.

Hey, vikkim, don't panic over slow delivery yet. My finished blocks once took a detour to Puerto Rico between Ga and NC! Everything was addressed perfectly correct and everything....I guess they just needed a little tropical vacation before becoming a quilt.

If you kept the tracking number, you can see where it is at each step at USPS.com. It’s on the way here, delayed only. May arrive today as it left Atlanta at 2:26 this morning for my town. Most of the packages are experiencing delays. As Libster said, packages do take side trips occasionally but they have always made it here sooner or later. . No worries allowed! Save that for something urgent, like no chocolate in the house. .

The name of the block is Piper's Puzzle found in Volume 14 page 51 of the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazine.

Here is the picture she is referring to, it's my all time favorite! This incredible quilt block was made by Kass several booms ago (before my time). Kass, hope you don't mind that I posted your picture once again but it's the greatest!
Ive wondered about that quilt ALOT...The Abbey Road guys were SO cute...Id love to have a block like that!! Not sure who put it together but I don't think Ive ever seen it finished!! Ive seen a "premade" hippie quilt on line but you can tell they are factory line made..not individually hand made. I thought about buying one then taking the sewing out of it and using the "panels" to make my own design...not sure I have the patience though! If anyone runs across fabric that has "hippy" panels or what would make a good hippy quilt please send me a link for it!! Im about out of the hippy era and into old age era!!
