So I just received an email from a friend who offered me a million dollars if I would pick up her aunts oversized king quilt tonight and bind it. Her aunt made the quilt and I took my friend to the long armer who quilted it. Her aunt went into hospice today and friend is leaving early Sunday AM for 2 week vacation. I know and love her aunt but straight out said no on the binding. Told her I had put my back out and it would kill me to try and do that.

I loved up the wild and goosey... I just love them. I have scraps I have been saving for years. I think I have found my new project.

Hav, I’ve got lots of scraps from my quilting, the Booms and a couple of friends heard I love scraps and they sent me some. One sent a lot! I’ll be using them for years. And I’m just cleaning up my scraps and it turns out I’ve got hundreds and hundreds of “strings”. So, I bought BH’s latest book and hope to use some of them as well.

Good morning, Boomers! Sign-ups are over. Glad that’s done! Thank you to everyone for patiently waiting. Once I have a cup or two of coffee, I’ll start finalizing my emails to everyone. However, the long and short of it is we have 14 people in the 2 month group month group, most of whom will be sending 19 F8s. The remaining few will send me 13. The 3 month group is full so everyone there will send me 19 F8s and receive 19 blocks in return. Please start prepping your fabrics if you haven’t yet done so. I’ll be in touch a bit later today. Later, Boomers!

Yay, I'm ready to get started. I washed my fabric last night and I will iron and cut today. I have to run to the store and get some labels and Ziploc bags to pack them all together. The weather reports are predicting 6-8 inches of snow in my area, so we could get anywhere from 1-10 inches. I have to go to the store before the snow comes.

Ladies stay safe if you have to venture out, I hear weather is going to be bad all over the eastern side of the US.
