Evening to all the EB’s. Hope you all are having a nice long weekend. As you know, mine started out rough with the fall, but happily my knee is much better. Yay. We came home early from our weekend. Our son is coming home for a few days from NC with his pup, Henri. His fiancé is traveling this week and he’s able to work his job remotely so he thought he’d visit us. Yay! Probably no block work for the next few days. I only have a few left and two of those are cut out and the third decided upon.

GramE, if only I were closer, I’d trade my help for a few goodies! Don’t overdo. Nobody will notice a few dust bunnies in the corners. I know this from experience.

I was looking at GramE's blocks and noticed everyone used her accent fabric so I remade her one after taking that one apart. Additionally I made my last block for GramE.

you certainly did not need to take them apart. Everyone won’t have blue. Yours are absolutely best. Gonna be a wonderful quilt. I’m gonna feel too guilty to keep it for myself. Thank you so much!

I know but having people over is a great motivator to do more that I normally would at one time. And much would be outside because it’s been so hot here this summer many outside jobs have gone undone. Once they are done, my fall cleaning will be done and I can check them off for another year! hahaha. It’s time for pain treatments also, so I’ll get the work done, then get to stay down for a few days. This knee is gonna make sure I don’t over do! Grands are all home this weekend so much fun is happening. And my daughter has been by, she is at my eldest’s mini farm learning to supervise children on horse rides for teen youth group, getting used to correcting and leading the horses and she’s excited. Might even convince her to help me with an iou for a batch of meatballs!

So so glad you have had a visit. They are so wonderful for me. Grown children taking timeout to visit is such a blessing. In your case, much to talk about, with planning for the future.

Yes, I did decopage with fabric strips and Dodge podge for furniture. It's worked out great.
