Janice, I'm so glad that you like your quilt. The Boomers are an amazing, caring group of ladies who truly love and appreciate all that you do for us. I think it turned out rather well. It makes my heart smile to know that you like our efforts.
The quilt design changed several times because we had such so many gorgeous blocks coming in. I was determined to showcase every one of them equally. We wound up with 31 blocks so I chose what I considered the most perfect one for the label. It was mjp's Celtic Knot. I listed every contributor's name on the white tape and added 2019 Boomers to the top of the knot. I love the way it turned out too. Enjoy your quilt and know we love you.

    Good afternoon,
I always enjoy logging in to see all the beautiful blocks! The talent here truly amazes me! Pam, I really like the one you made for Libster! I now see why you love to buy ToTs and the textured fabrics such as grunges. As you can see, I'm using a lot of what we've bought together!!

What an amazing quilt Janice, such a lovely quilt. What a nice gift! I'm sure you will cherish it forever!

I've got a couple of contributions today. I didn't make them all today, rather decided to post in clusters which saves computer time which means more sew time!!

Smglover I didn't like the way your block looked with just orange. It needed more color. I redid your block and I hope you like them. The first one is the redo. The second is a bonus block from the leftovers.

    Beautiful blocks ladies.

Amazing job on Janice's quilt, I think we were all excitedly waiting for the "cat to be out of the bag" lol

Thanks Sewbiz, had a dickens of a time finding the dark teal.

it is 52 degrees here with a sharp wind. The good news is they are fixing my furnace as I write

Don't make me jealous! It's over 90 here, and my husband just came in soaked with sweat and declared it was too hot to be outside!

I love your teal. Is it grunge?

Gorgeous boom 23 blocks! Some of the great color combos have me drooling over projects I think I can do now.

Janice could you post a picture of the celtic knot on the backside of your quilt? I'm glad you're feeling better and have a mom memory quilt to snuggle.

Yes Sewbiz the fabric is a grunge.

Well they couldn’t fix the furnace, he took it into the shop then had to come back here and tap off the gas line so We could use my water heater and stove. I am running electric fireplace, have quilt on my legs and wearing a fleece jacket. Hubby is even wearing long pants and a fleece sweater.
