I would love to see some corals added into the blocks with my fabrics anything that makes it a bit more Floridian.

Kass how many babies do you have with Cricket?

It is to hot here right now to be outside doing much. This is the first time in 15+ years that I have not planted a garden. I do have tomatoes and peppers on the porch. So staying inside and quilting is a great thing to be doing. Once finished here for the morning I am back at the sewing machine for an hour or so.

I've got all mine cut and only need to add instructions to each bag and they'll be ready to mail off.

Mine have been cut since the day I signed up. I just added a simple added instruction, that I wanted Florida Beachy. The rest is up to the imagination and color choices. I love sampler quilts and this one promises to be a whole lot of fun. Three months seems so far away. I figure I will have all my blocks finished in a couple weeks providing life doesn't slow me down.

Vikkim, love your fabric! Can't wait to see it in person.
Moonrise that's a great idea, never thought to do bags. I have plenty of quilts, donated lots of quilts and have placemats with no where to go Next Boom I might have to copy your idea if you don't mind.

I got up early and finished the 4 corner blocks for the Windmill and Pinwheel quilt that is going on at NQC. I am having so much fun with this. The picture color is a tad bit off.. the white is white and the dark is navy.

That's so pretty, Hav! Terri told me about that QAL... I'm collecting the blocks.

I didn't even know there was a "National Quilter's Circle". Looks like it's similar to Craftsy, with a membership option and instructional videos? I have a Craftsy, now Bluprint, membership and rarely find time to watch their videos, so I am just collecting the free blocks from NQC.
