annt59, I have to decide on fabric also. Spent the day with laundry and putting "stuff" away. I've never really posted a pic of the grandchildren, but this is who I got to spend my 10 days with and who I look forward to seeing when we are at our home in Florida. Now being the frugal person that I am, I proceeded to buy enough additional fabric to get free shipping. Lol
Smglover, I love them both, they balance out each other. But the basic are some of my favorites. And what’s easy for one, isn’t for another. Here’s my first Boom quilt.

I give away the majority of quilts I make, but I can’t quite let this go. It’s special. Looking at blocks can take longer that sewing the blocks. But most fabric seems to say something to me about what design and color. And then i’ve Undone and remade blocks because I wasn’t happy.

Just have fun, find, mark and stick to 1/4” seam and end up at 12 1/2” square.

Ok, been trying to resist, but should have known "resistance is futile". I really wanted a break but realized I could take a 2 month break before starting if I signed up for the 3 month group. (Blocks usually take me about a week for each group).

Thank you to those who asked me to join. Changing my 'no' to a 'yes'... Just emailed Janice. Hope there is still room for me in the 3 month group.

Jaba, they are both so precious! I know you're a special kind of happy and tired right now. There's nothing in the world like those little arms around your neck!

Jaba what super sweet grand kids.

Sewbiz so glad to hear you are joining us. Just wouldn’t be the same without you.

Cold and windy here today, we decided to take road trip back to cities to deposit cashiers check for selling all of our toys. Now we have a boat and a lift. Hubby is as happy as can be. It was just getting to be to much work for him and not enough fun
