I'm another that would help make blocks if needed.
My package is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow - have not checked for updates to see if it's on schedule or not. I've got a few things I want to get finished before I start on these, otherwise I'll get into making these blocks and the other project will get put in a tote and back on the UFO shelf.

Bugaroo, that's precisely how I'm thinking about this...no fix would be worse. I'm already in pain and not sleeping well, what's another few months of it if it will be resolved eventually. Thank you!
Thank you for your offer! DH has already stepped up to say he'd help me with the sorting and such. Since that wont be for a couple of months, it should be ok.

Julia, this is good to know. I'm hoping to feel better quickly but I know it's a process.
Love the block, Bug. I wasn't sure which way to go with colors so this may help me out.
MJP, my son is a PT and he reassured me that if I follow the rules and do the work, I should recover just fine and be better than I am now.
This is from a fall earlier this year. Bruised some ribs and damaged a pinkie finger. That poor thing may never be straight again! LOL
Thank you also for your offer of help, SBG. This block is actually extremely challenging for me despite the few number of pieces. I've always struggled with anything akin to a basket block. I shouldn't mention that I put the whole thing together wrong and had to rework it yesterday. What is it about basket blocks? I liked that little print for the cake stand. Seemed right to me.

please listen to the doctors and really try to minimize the use of your arm.. As you start to feel better you don’t baby yourself as much and it’s so easy to over do. After 3 surgeries in 3 years my only advice is take it as easy as possible

Janice, so sorry to hear that you need surgery. But, I'm sure that you will feel 100% better once it's over.
Since Janice has done so much for all of us, I plan on going ahead and making her block. There is no reason why we shouldn't.

Janice, my hubby had that done about a year ago. PT will work wonders combined with the home exercises, just do the work and be sure not to overdo.
I went to PT Tuesday and they found out that I pinched my sciatic nerve. Getting the Tens treatments now to calm them down before they can start some ultra sound. Hopefully better soon so I can sew on blocks and a round robin. Tracking says they should be here tomorrow.
I'm not in the position right now to make extra blocks, wish I could, but will certainly go ahead and make blocks with your fabric. After all, you'll need a project to put together when you recover
Your quilt will be like therapy, it'll help you get back in the groove.

Jaba, glad you have an answer and a plan to deal with the problem. Not knowing isn't good. No worries about not making extra blocks for me. I've had so many offers, I can hardly keep up. I'm still going to work on some and see how far I get. I feel compelled to do as much as possible or I will feel that I've let you all down. I know you all don't feel that way but that's me.

I think SBG mentioned that I said set it aside. I should have said set my fabric aside and return it to me with the finished blocks. I will not think poorly of anyone who does that as it's my idea.
Hope those of you who haven't received their F8s yet get theirs soon. It's difficult waiting, isn't it? Pretty soon the blocks are going to be popping up rapidly...I cannot wait to see them! A sling on my arm won't keep me from oogling all the pretty blocks!

I plan on making a block for Janice. Way I look at it is this- it's the very least I can do for her after all the work and planning she does for us to make these Boom swaps possible. She is our Boom Mom so I plan to return a tiny little favor.
