Love coming to look at all the blocks being made. The one's made for me are all great.

I am so ready to have this cast off. I had a check-up yesterday and they cut the cast off, but I have a new one. I was hoping I was done.
Here is a quilt I finished for my niece. She wanted red, green and cream. She is in Mississippi and just received it yesterday. The picture is when she put it on her bed and my great nephew wanted in the picture. Sewing the binding on was a bear with the cast.

Hav4boys, I’m sorry to hear you still have a cast. Can’t be much longer, can it? Love the quilt and all those stars. Your niece is a very lucky woman.

Good morning boomers,

Here are some of the blocks I finished up over the long weekend. These are for Stcpawz, Hav4 and Julia. I always love to see how the same block takes on different lives using different color schemes.

Two more blocks that I appropriately made on the 4th of July! They are for Klaws and Ibex I have three sets of the president fabric, so I'm going to have to really give that some thought. The good part is I will have plenty of FACES! Speaking of which, can someone please help me identify the presidents in this block, I only know the two obvious ones!!!

I:see Nixon, Carter and Washington. Don't know who the other president is.

I love these blocks, and your previous ones, too....

Hav, that's a lovely huge quilt! The little nephew is adorable too. Hope you can stay cool with that cast on your arm, for just a little while longer.

I just scanned through pics and portraits of all the presidents and I cannot figure out the final one. He’s got to be one of the earlier ones. Maybe John Quincy Adams or Martin Van Buren? Anyone else have an idea?

Those were who I thought, too. I'm leaning toward Martin Van Buren - https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-ma...135041044.html

I really am enjoying lurking on this thread. You gals are amazing - making beautiful blocks. It is fun to see what you all come up with.

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

You found better pix than I did. I believe you’re right. Martin Van Buren.
