Ladies, love all the blocks, the talent is amazing. I am working on getting the pumpkin group blocks done.
question for the paper piecing ladies. How do you take a fat eighth and have enough for each section of the paper pieced block? Is there a secret to getting the fabric cut for each section?

one way is to cut one of the blocks patterns up - take each adding 1/2" around the edges for a template.
If in doubt, make a scrap trial block.

Thank you for my basket block! I never make them bc I end up with the basket part askew. (One day I’ll have to work on that.). I’ve been working on your two blocks today and I finished one but lost power in the home stretch of the second one. Guessing our robust winds caused a down tree. Grrr. I’ll post both blocks together when I’m done.
