At a sew day, I asked a lady to give me suggestions on quilting a quilt I’d just sandwiched.
The first thing she said was starting in the center so any excess could be pushed to the edges…..WRONG. That will result in ripples somewhere. If my top isn’t flat, I want to quilt in any excess spots….which better be few.
Then she started fussing with my seams, which I realized I hadn’t done such a good job pressing-not like I usually do.
It went further downhill with her picky fingers on my quilt.

Pet, what I’ve discovered through my quilting and Boom journeys is that there are many ways to do things and what is right for one may not be right for another. Don’t be discouraged if you are getting good results. It helps for all to keep an open mind. Have a pleasant evening.

Beautiful, TG! I really like your sashing and the backside. I love seeing these quilts finished up. Your fabric was an inspired choice for all of us to play with. The blocks do play nicely together!
