Under the title “when it rains, it pours”…I had to take DH to the ER several hours ago due to extreme abdominal pain. Since the guy never complains, it seemed the prudent course. The pain has almost disappeared but his BP and heart rate are off. We think they’re going to release him with an order to go to a cardiologist. He’s himself again but what happened remains a mystery. As my grandmother would say, “never a dull moment”.
Still without internet. Boo. Using the hospital’s great location to get it. Hope everyone is well.

HAV, love love my block and the colors and pattern you chose
Good grief Janice, if it’s not one thing it’s another. Hope he can get into a cardiologist immediately
Our 30 year old grandson signed himself into a alcohol treatment center for 30 days. Shocking news but hoping he hit rock bottom and will fight for his recovery. For those who believe in prayer please pray for Tyler

Tyler just jumped on my list as did your hubby. You must be happy your grandson made that choice and anticipating a new boy come the holidays.
I am breathing a sigh after two long days in a row of decision making. I was planning a funeral luncheon for a family from my church. All of those behind the scenes decisions are wearing me out. It used to be so easy! Any way a good team of helpers for the prep and clean up and the crowd was much smaller than expected. I came home and a movie poppedf up on my YouTube list. Gave it a try. It was "The Secret Garden" a 1987 Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation. The commercials were so sweet and the hair and shoulder pads so big. Colin Firth was a walk on for about 60 seconds at the end of the movie and Derek Jacobi played the mourning father. Both were babies! But the best part was the set was Highclere Castle of Downton Abbey fame. I giggled because the furniture was the same and in the same places in each room. Interesting.
Tomorrow is Squirrel day so look for a block or two.

Hav - absolutely love all your blocks but the best is LStew - I had to enlarge and ogle it!
Terri - I am praying that after the 30 days he will have a support group and new set of friends
Janice - Thankful that the hospital was open for your visit and that the specialist will find the reason. (perhaps he needs a puppy?)
I have been so enjoying on working on blocks - anything but clean and unload the motorhome. It is finally under 90 for the first day since we arrived!
Here is one for cheesehead and a mummy for IBex

TG thank you for the beautiful block, that pattern really shows off my fabric! Love the mummy block!
Janice hope your DH is feeling better this morning and that all will be well. I like TG's suggestion of a new puppy.
Terri, your grandson took a big step by entering a program, wishing all the best for him on his new journey.
